Submission to Inquiry into Rural Drainage in Victoria

By May 26, 2014 April 10th, 2018 Biodiversity, Submissions

The Victorian Parliament’s Environment and Natural Resources Committee has launched an inquiry into rural drainage schemes. There are many of these areas throughout the Victorian countryside, often developed to drain wetlands for agricultural purposes. They can also have important environmental values. We have made a submission to the Inquiry, looking at the management of competing purposes in these modified landscapes.
