Yallourn Community Forum 2019
May 28 @ 7:00 pm - 9:00 pm
A community forum to meet local Moe and Newborough residents who are concerned about the ash and dust coming from Yallourn power station, to help them understand their legal rights, and to empower the community to take legal action to ensure the power station is forced to comply with their legal obligations.
For decades, people who live in Moe, Newborough and Yallourn North have lived with dust and ash coming from Yallourn power station. We’ve been told it’s just part of living here.
It doesn’t have to be this way. The power station and the EPA have obligations to protect your health and wellbeing.
See you at the forum.
